Hey Kids...This post is about gross sickness, just fyi

So the reason i haven't posted in so long is basically because absolutely nothing has happened. well, of any interest anyway. I've come down with something and feel like such shit i almost think death would be an improvement. the throat is the worst with it's hugely swollen and disgusting looking tonsils, plus the fact that my breath is so foul from the nasties in there it makes me feel ill, along with the monstrous swelling of my lymph nodes (i have about an egg-sized lump on the right side of my neck, and other large ones elsewhere). my nose is entirely stuffed, i can't eat much or i feel ill, i have to keep hydrated but that's incredibly difficult seeing as swallowing makes me want to slit my throat... and it sucks, before the pain was only on the right tonsil, the worse of the two, so the pain was slightly avoidable if i swallowed a certain way. now the pain has moved though, and resides at the very back of my throat, so there's no getting around it. what fuckers, they must've known i was cheating. contrary to popular believe, however, i have not been fatigued at all. i am feeling incredibly restless, want to get out of the house and do stuff, want to kill this fucking pain and get over all of this horribleness. it's AWFUL!!! i can't even sleep at night because swallowing keeps me awake as well as the fact that i am constantly restless. i finally got some sleep last night after taking a ridiculous amount of drugs, more than i thought i could have, but my dad said with this huge of a sickness i could take two acetaminophen every four hours and four ibuprofen every 8 hours and i should take them all at the same time. it does seem to ease my throat a bit, but it only lasts for about the middle 4 hours...takes two for it to actually start working, and then starts to go away two hours before i can take more. it sucks. so yeah, i'm just the most miserable person ever right now. it's been going for almost two weeks now and could go for two more. OMFG...seriously...kill me now.

hope you all are healthy and happy. and never take swallowing pain-free for granted. savor it! when you don't have that luxury your life is HELL! i'm sure you've all had bad sore throats before and know it sucks, but those last about 7-10 days...this lasts 2-4 weeks! sometimes more! aanyhoo, enough of all this icky sick talk... you all have excellent days. get out there and enjoy the weather or whatever opportunities await you.





(update, sept. 9: my tonsils are now covered in black stuff as opposed to the white that was there before. though there is still some white. i have no idea what is going on though, or why it does that. my mouth tastes like death though as well as my breath. this is the most revolting thing ever. the swelling on my neck does appear to have gone down a bit though, hopefully it won't flare back up. *sigh* i want to get over this so bad, ugh.)

(umm...update again, sept. 9, but later in the day: i have just been to the doctors again because my mum flipped out over the black thingy. i have been to the doctors 3 times and every single one of them has been incredibly quick and jumpy and a little too fast to try and diagnose me without taking the time to ask what my symptoms are or check me for the things i complained about....all three docs have told me something different. it is ridiculous. so this last doc said i have an ear infection along with whatever else i have which " *shakes off the idea with a flutter of his hand*" so he looked at my throat and looked away repulsed and then looked back and started scratching at the black thing with one of those giant popsicle sticks...holy shit. OW. so yeah, he seems to think this is a bacterial infection, or maybe that it started out with a virus but that i now have a bacterial infection on top of that...awesome. so he gave me these penicillin pills that are the size of my effing thumb. how the hell am i supposed to swallow those? my throat is already killing me as it is and i've never been good at swallowing pills...so that sucks. and i have to eat them with food or they'll make me feel sick, but eating food already make me feel sick, so that sucks. I AM SO DONE WITH ALL THIS CRAP! JUST GET IT OUT OF ME!!! and i am very upset by the fact that none of these doctors has any effing clue what's going on. they've all said different things, they've all been equally quick to give their "professional" opinion, and i'm just sick of this. why should i trust this doctor over the others? *sigh* i don't know. whatever. i do have an ear infection, so the meds will help with that, but gah, really now, you'd think they could be a little more help in trying to tell me what the fuck is wrong!
