August 11-15: Camping
i have returned! with many a photo! (omg i'm so annoyed! i got five spam comments! what jerks! blah! so i deleted them). anyhoo, yes, so i went camping for five days with my mum, her bf, and my little bro. we went to the most north-western area of the U.S. you can be in (except, obviously, for Alaska and Hawaii). the place we stayed, Hobuck beach, is in the Makah Indian Reservation. we arrived on thursday. on friday we hiked to Capy Flattery. on saturday we hiked to Shi Shi beach. and on sunday we made the 9.1 mile hike from Ozette, to Cape Alava, to Sand Point and back to Ozette. here is a good map showing all of those places! just look at the farthest northwest point and a little below that.
apparently in the summer there is a fog bank that covers the entire Strait of Juan De Fuca as well as the tip of Washington and down the other coast for quite a ways as well. my mum and roger were there at christmas and said it was gorgeous, sunny, and that they wore shorts and tee's. bah! oh well, mist and fog are awesome...except when you're camping cause it makes everything damp and uncomfortable. ugh.

I hate spamments too. Those pics are amazing. Also, every time you post up a load of pictures, I realize just how much cool stuff there is too see, and I have seen almost no cool stuff ever(where I live and near it is not exactly exciting.
Anyway, I really want to go somewhere really exciting and cool on holiday now(bloody lack of money)

Kent really isn't one of the most exciting places in the UK... I've got a few starfish, though I don't think they're purple (not like I'd be albe to tell anyway : P)...
Castles are cool, and I live about 20 minutes walk from Rochester castle, but I would much rather have all that cool stuff you took pics of within, well anywhere near me! When I get a full-Time job I think I might save up and go on holiday somwhere, and I think it will have to be America!
